Wansdyke
District Scouts covers the towns and villages of North East Somerset
including Keynsham, Saltford, Midsomer Norton, Clutton, High
Littleton, Paulton, Peasedown St John, and all the villages in
between, and around including as far out as Chew Valley, and Publow
and Pensford.
Scouting is thriving in the area, with
lots of growth in the individual Scout Groups both in terms of
numbers, and the activities undertaken. Beaver Colonies, Cub Packs,
Scouts Troops and Explorer Scout Units are opening all over the
District.

Midsomer Norton & Radstock Cubs 'Outdoor' Weekend
Twenty-eight Cubs from
1st Radstock and 1st Midsomer Norton Scout Groups
spent the bank holiday weekend camping and taking
part in a series of skill and fun activities in
Radstock. The youngsters were introduced to new
skills including semaphore signalling, orienteering,
tracking, fire-lighting and cooking.

Sponsored Climb
On Saturday 6th June
outside Bath Abbey there will be sponsored climb by
members of the Keynsham Explorer Unit in aid of the
